Hey guys! Now that things are rolling with the government, I'm working again ^(n_n^) So here's an update on what's to come:

It's now FY14 and what happens? Frickin' government shutdown (‎ಠ_ಠ) It doesn't help that I'm in the military AND work at a museum. Talk about a double-punch combo!

Hi guys, its been a while! Please don't hurt me </span>I just wanted to let y'all know that I'm still alive, but I've been amazingly busy the last couple of months (traveling, balancing two jobs, military training, etc.). 2013 has certainly proved itself to be a year to be reckoned with, but like the champ that I am, I'm holding my head up high, staying positive and taking one challenge at a time  

Who knew I'd get so tired after I got back from San Diego? Ah well, I haven't traveled in a while so I wasn't as used to it (slept a lot though). Anyhow, their weather is just beautiful right now (breezy and summery), and I hesitated to get on the plane back home lol And of course, as I soon as I get here we get a snow storm (ಠ_ಠ) Luckily, it's not so bad...I can already see the snow melting away (our weatherman sure made it seem like it'd be a big deal lol).

Ok, now for an update! Looks like I've been called for another event this week. A buddy of mine is retiring from the Army, and he has asked me to be the photographer for the event. He's like a dad for me, so I'm definitely going to be there! This will just delay my dA work for about two days, but I'll busy myself over the weekend to catch up. Things are starting to pick up for me, so I'll have to be more careful when announcing dates.

Omg I thought of an idea yesterday that I want to draw so bad! I tried looking it up online to see if anyone has done it yet, and surprisingly I haven't found anything (maybe I'm not searching hard enough?). Anyhow, I won't say what it is...I want it to be a surprise c: I definitely have the feeling that it'll take me a while to draw (with the details and all), so I'll make a close up drawing of it first when I'm 90% complete on the original (trust me, people will figure it out pretty quick). I better do a great job on this...it'll definitely test my skills lol

I guess this means no breaks for me yet! :'D And I've got a whole bunch of dA messages I want to check out, but I'll save that for next week (holy cow, how'd it get over 3,000?! That's a lot of art!). Busy bee indeed...
